Two People Charged With Attempted Murder After Argument At Dollar General Parking Lot in Horry County
Two people have been charged with attempted murder after an argument at a Dollar General over a parking spot on Friday. Officers responded near the Little River section of Horry County on reports of shots fired. The victim told officers he got into a verbal argument with the suspects at the store and one of them told him he had guns and that he would shoot him. The second suspect was in the passenger seat of a car. Officers added that after the argument the victim said the suspects followed him down Highway 111 and onto Highway 17 northbound. The second suspect pulled out a gun and shot at the victim’s vehicle and fled the scene. Officers were able to stop the suspects and detain them. Both were arrested for attempted murder but one in a juvenile and will be in custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice. 18 year old Spencer Golden was released from the J. Reuben Long detention center yesterday on a $45,000 bond.
