Man Charged With Attempted Murder Following Incident At Myrtle Beach Hotel

A 59 year old man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing and biting another man at a hotel in Myrtle Beach on Saturday Afternoon. Kenneth Mizell, was also charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime in connection to the incident that happened in the 2700 block of South Ocean Boulevard. According to the incident report, the victim told police Mizell stabbed him in the hand and bit him during a fight after Mizell came to the hotel room where the victim and a woman were located. Mizell allegedly threatened to kill them both. The woman told officers the fight happened after Mizell came to the hotel room to pick up some of his belongings. He was booked at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center where he is being held without bond.
