1 Dead, Others Wounded Following Shooting Spree in Arizona
At least one person is dead and a dozen others are injured following 8 shootings in Arizona. One of the four people who were shot died at the scene when a gunman went on a shooting spree in the West Valley area of the state yesterday. During a press conference, Sergeant Brandon Sheffert with the Peoria Police Department said that nine other people were hurt by shrapnel and debris. The shooting scenes are in Glendale, Peoria and Surprise which are three cities northwest of Phoenix and took place over the course of more than an hour. According to Sheffert, police pulled over the suspect in Surprise after his vehicle was spotted by a firefighter. The suspected shooter did not resist arrest and a weapon was found in his vehicle.
