MYR Sees Record Breaking Number of Passengers in May

The Myrtle Beach International Airport saw a record breaking number of passengers in May. Last month, the number of people arriving on flights was 167,143 compared to 153,174 in 2019. Total passenger traffic which includes both arriving and departing passengers totaled 326,774 which is an 8% increase from 301,923 in May of 2019. In 2019 1.3 million passenger arrivals were recorded total and the airport is expecting to see nearly that number of traffic this summer with about 1 million passengers scheduled to arrive.
