1 Dead, 7 Injured in Crash at Texas Race Event

At least 8 people were hospitalized in Texas after a car plowed into a crowd last night. The incident took place at a mud racing event in Fabens, Texas, which is about 40 miles southeast of El Paso. According to the El Paso county sheriff’s office, three people are in critical condition and five others suffered non-life threatening injuries. A man attending the event captured video of the moment the vehicle lost control, veered into the crowd and also struck three other vehicles. As of right now, authorities have not released any additional details on the incident, including the conditions of the drivers or the identities of the victims. Authorities are still investigating what caused the the crash.
