FedEx Shooting Update: The Suspect Had Been Investigated By The FBI

We have an update on the shooting at the FedEx facility in Indianapolis that happened last Thursday the victims and gunman have been identified. The shooter, 19 year old Brandon Hole was investigated by the FBI last March because his mother told authorities that he might try to ‘commit suicide by cop’. According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department he purchased the two assault rifles used in the attack legally months after the investigation. The FBI traced the weapons found at the facility in Indianapolis and determined one was purchased in July of 2020 and the other was bought in September of the same year. In a statement released on Saturday by Hole’s family they said they were devastated by the killings and ‘tried to get him the help he needed.’ The former FedEx employee opened fire and killed 8 people before taking his own life. Investigators haven’t determined a motive yet. The victims range in ages between 19 to 74 and four of the eight killed were members of the area’s Sikh community. A Gofundme page set up for the victims families has raised over $1,004,000 of which FedEx contributed $1 million of. 100% of the money from the ‘Indianapolis 4/15 Survivors Fund’ will go to the families and those affected by the tragedy. Some of the families have also set up individual fundraising pages.
