Governor McMaster Closes More Non-Essential Businesses

Total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in South Carolina has surpassed 2,000 with 44 deaths.  We’re close behind North Carolina now who has over 2,600 cases but has less reported deaths at just 39. Governor Henry McMaster has ordered the closure of even more non-essential businesses starting at 5 PM today. This includes furniture stores, florists, clothing stores and more. The governor also continues to be hard pressed to issue a stay-at-home like our bordering neighbors North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. Presently Charleston and Columbia are the only cities in South Carolina who have issued stay-at-home orders.
