Drive-In Movies Are Making a Comeback

The need for social distancing has been good news for some drive-in theaters, where movie-goers can watch from the safety of their cars. There were 305 drive-in theaters with a total of 549 screens throughout the United States as of last fall. For the ones that have opened for the season already, they have to keep snack stands closed and limit the number of people in a bathroom at any given time. But, it’s been worth it for some owners who say their typical ticket sales have doubled!
