Tidelands Health Doctor Offers Tips For Keeping Kids Busy

COVID-19 has forced children to stay home and with spring finally upon us, many of them are beginning to feel restless. Dr. Gerald Harmon, of Tidelands Health, has some ideas on how to keep your kids safe but also preoccupied during this pandemic. He suggests staying away from things such as playgrounds and contact sports. Instead, they can go for a bike ride as long as they don’t share equipment. This ensures everything they’re touching is safe and also helps maintain social distancing. Indoor arts and crafts are another good way to go, however make sure all your supplies have been sanitized. Kids can also play outside as long as they refrain from touching their faces and wash up immediately after they’re done.
