Dollar General Dedicating First Hour of Business to Senior Shoppers

Dollar General officials have announced that beginning today until further notice, their first hour of business will be dedicated to senior shoppers. As we know, the group is most vulnerable to the coronavirus. The company wants to provide their at-risk customers with the ability to purchase the items they need and want at the beginning of each day to avoid busier and more crowded shopping periods. Other customers are encouraged to plan their trips around the time window. All stores will begin closing one hour early to give employees time to clean and restock shelves.
