Stepmom Charged With Murder Assaulted Deputy During Extradition

A stepmother charged with murder has reportedly assaulted a deputy. 36-year-old Letecia Stauch is accused of murdering her 11-year-old stepson, Gannon Stauch, who was last seen over five weeks ago. She was arrested in Myrtle Beach earlier this week. While being extradited to Colorado, she was temporarily jailed in Kansas. It’s reported the reason was because she slipped out of her cuffs and physically assaulted a deputy transporting her. He was hospitalized with minor injuries. Stauch is currently booked in the El Paso County Jail.
