Bond Denied for Mother of “Baby Boy Horry”

The bond hearing for the mother of “Baby Boy Horry” was just a few hours ago. 32-year-old Jennifer Sahr was just denied bond and her lawyers have been ordered back in court April 13th to deliver their remarks on the case. Meanwhile, local officials are trying to bring re-awareness to “Daniel’s Law” created in 2000. It allows mothers to safely drop off children up to two months old to any police station, fire station or hospital without any repercussion towards the mother. The law is meant to save children’s lives as well as help mothers not to make such panicked decisions. In Horry County alone, there are at least 40 designated “safe place spots”.
