Teenager Killed While Rapping on Facebook Live

A teenager was shot and killed while rapping on Facebook Live. The incident occurred on Elton Street and New Lots Avenue in Brooklyn. 19-year-old Jeremiah Dickey was rapping along to “30” by Brooklyn rapper, Blizzy Banks, on Facebook Livestream while inside a car for about 35 seconds. He then pauses as the sound of gun shots could be heard. Dickey’s phone falls and the screen goes black. He was discovered by police with a single gunshot wound to his head and unresponsive. He was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at a hospital. The suspect is reported to have fled the scene and no arrests have been made. The video has since been removed from the social media platform. Due to the investigation being ongoing, police cannot yet confirm if the actual moment Dickey was shot was caught on camera or just heard.
