Suspect Publically Identified, Charged in Myrtle Beach Shooting
A suspect has been identified and charged in the shooting incident of a 14-year-old boy. Anthony Lemay, a Forestbrook middle schooler, was shot and killed along the 500 block of 65th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach over the weekend. 20-year-old Tylor rogers was found at the scene of the crime and arrested that night after admitting to police he stole the gun from a vehicle earlier that day and shot Lemay. He claims he unloaded it to “make it safe,” before pointing it at the teen’s chest and pulling the trigger. Rogers was charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, burglary auto, possession of a stolen firearm and simple possession of marijuana. His bond is due to be set at a later date.
