Florence County Woman Hit, Killed by Train

A woman was hit and killed by a train in Florence county yesterday. A local coroner says 51-year-old Teresa Lee of the Coward Community was identified as the victim who was struck by an Amtrak train around noon in the area of Friendfield Road and Railroad Avenue. Police have declined to make more information available to the public as of yet but continue to investigate the circumstance regarding the incident.
