Horry County Passes First Reading of Second Amendment Ordinance

Horry County leaders approved the first reading of the second amendment sanctuary ordinance last night. If officially adopted, the ordinance would show Horry County’s support for the right of an individual to bear arms on a state and federal level. It would also prohibit the enforcement of certain gun restrictions which could be seen as a violation to the second amendment. The ordinance still has a long way to go before it is fully enforced but the public’s general response to it has been very positive. The next meeting to discuss the ordinance will be February 18th at 6:00 P.M.
