Kobe Bryant, Nine Others Killed in Helicopter Crash
It was confirmed by TMZ yesterday that basketball legend and future hall of famer Kobe Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash. Nine other people aboard also died during the crash, including Kobe’s 13-year-old daughter Gianna. They were on their way to a basketball game in Thousand Oaks, California when they crashed into a hillside in Calabasas. Among those dead are baseball coach John Altobelli, his wife, Keri and daughter, Alyssa. An assistant girls basketball coach, Christina Mauser. The pilot was also confirmed killed. Hundreds of thousands of fans are in mourning. Fellow friends and basketball players were in tears on the sidelines during games last night and many people have taken to social media to pay tribute to all those killed. It’s believed bad weather and low visibility was the result of the crash. It’s reported the scene will take several days to process.
