How Many Americans Admit to Crying During Movies

Guys like to act tough. But, put on an inspiring sports or war film and they turn into a puddle. 82% of Americans say they’ve cried at least once during a movie. 85% of people in the south are the most likely to shed some tears. The midwest was next at 83%, followed by the northeast and then the folks out west were the least likely. One more weird stat from the survey, 2% of people said the question didn’t apply, because they don’t watch movies.
