Georgetown Man Turns Himself in for Murder
A Georgetown man who was wanted for murder is now in custody. 20-year-old Malachi Thompson turned himself in early this morning following a manhunt police had launched against him. It’s reported Thompson and two others were involved in shootings that killed one and injured another. Matthew Elliott, 22, and Coltin Anderson, also 22, were arrested and charged with murder but Thompson was still on the run at the time. He is now booked at the Georgetown County Detention Center. He’s charged with murder, armed robbery and criminal domestic violence – 2nd offense with no bail set.
