Virginia Declares Itself in State of Emergency

Virginia has declared itself in a state of emergency after “threats of violence” were made by militia and hate groups that are expected to attend a pro-gun rally in Richmond on Monday. Guns and other weapons have also been banned from the rally after three white supremacists were arrested by the FBI yesterday. 33-year-old Brian Lemley Jr., 19-year-old William Bilbrough IV and 27-year-old Patrik Mathews were found with a machine gun, more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition and body armor. It’s reported the men were part of a white supremacist group called “The Base” and planned to attend Monday’s rally. The men have been charged with transporting a firearm and ammunition with intent to commit a felony and Mathews, who is Canadian, is also charged with being an alien in possession of a firearm and ammunition. They currently remain in custody by order of a judge.
