Mousetraps, firecrackers used to stop Trump sign theft

(CNN) – From fishing wire to electric shock, Trump supporters across the country are doing whatever it takes to make sure no one defaces or steals their Trump yard signs.

Trump signs aren’t just being stolen – one went up in flames as one Wisconsin man in his underwear took a lighter to a yard sign.
So many Trump signs are being swiped, that yard sign defense techniques are being deployed, like using bike chain lubricant to make them slippery and messy. Or worse yet, “try dog poop.” Another owner even electrified his sign to zap a would be thief.
