Hyundai Places Recall On Over 421k Vehicles
The recall covers certain 2025-2026 Hyundai Santa Cruz, Tucson Hybrid, and Tucson Plug-in Hybrid vehicles.
Hyundai has issued a recall on more than 421,000 vehicles.
The recall covers certain 2025-2026 Hyundai Santa Cruz, Tucson Hybrid, and Tucson Plug-in Hybrid vehicles. It was placed after the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration discovered a software bug.
The issue in the front cameras may cause the forward collision-avoidance system to activate prematurely. This means the brakes could unexpectedly be applied, potentially causing a crash.
Owners must bring their vehicles to a dealership to update the front camera software.
