One Suspect Arrested, Two Wanted After Robbery, Shooting Incident
Officers were responding to Roosevelt Street on reports of shots-fired when another 911 call came in regarding a robbery.
Laurinburg police have arrested one woman and are searching for two men in connection to a robbery and shooting incident.
Around 11:30am Wednesday, officers were responding to Roosevelt Street on reports of shots-fired when another 911 call came in regarding a robbery.
Upon arrival, officers encountered 28-year-old Ajireh McMillan. He said that he received a text from an acquaintance advising him to stop by a home to pick up owed money. When he arrived, three people came out of a residence and allegedly held him at gunpoint while taking jewelry and money from him. They then told McMillan to run and began firing shots at him. No injuries were reported.
22-year-old Cierra Bryant has been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. Police are searching for 23-year-old Brendan Smith and 18-year-old Jordan Smith for multiple charges including kidnapping. Anyone with information should contact Laurinburg authorities.
