Business Damaged After Myrtle Beach Police Chase Ends In Crash
The suspect failed to stop, prompting a chase in which the driver struck multiple vehicles before ultimately crashing.
One person was arrested following a police pursuit in Myrtle Beach.
Shortly before 4:30pm on Saturday, officers attempted to make a traffic stop for reckless driving near N. Ocean Boulevard.
The suspect failed to stop, prompting a chase in which the driver struck multiple vehicles before ultimately crashing in the 900 block of Kings Highway.
One of the impacted vehicles then struck a local business, causing damage.
The driver of the suspected vehicle attempted to flee the scene on foot but was detained. Three people were taken to hospitals to be treated for minor injuries.
The suspect’s identity was not publicly released. An investigation remains underway.
