The crash happened Wednesday night around 7:45 along Gaddy's Mill Road near Price Drive.

A crash in Dillon County claimed the life of one person.

It happened Wednesday night around 7:45 along Gaddy’s Mill Road near Price Drive.

A pick-up truck veered off the road to the left, swung back on the roadway, then ran off the road to the right and struck and ditch before crashing into a utility pole.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene but their identity was not publicly revealed.
