Casely Power Bank Chargers Recalled Due To Risk Of Injury Or Death

The chargers were sold on Casely's website, Amazon, and other online retailers.

More than 400,000 power banks have been recalled.

The recall covers Casely Power Pods 5000mAh portable MagSafe wireless phone chargers. It was placed due to fire and burn hazards.

The company all together has received over 70 reports of the charger overheating, swelling or catching fire while being used.

Several incidents caused burn injuries and one incident involved a 75-year-old woman who died due to second and third degree burns.

The chargers were sold on Casely’s website, Amazon, and other online retailers. Consumers are urged to stop using the power banks and contact cCasely for a free replacement.
