One Person Injured In Seven-Acre Wildfire In Carolina Forest Area
The flames were spreading in the area of N. Shore Drive and Red Wolf Trail.
Horry County Fire Rescue crews responded to a seven-acre wildfire that broke out in the Carolina Forest area.
Just after 2:30pm Tuesday, the flames were spreading in the area of N. Shore Drive and Red Wolf Trail.
Three homes along Red Wolf Trail were evacuated as a precaution as crews worked to control the fire. Evacuations were also conducted at multi-unit complexes along N. Shore Drive.
The blaze was put under control around 6:35pm, but visible smoke is still possible.
One person sustained minor injuries. The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
