Clay Fuller Wins Georgia’s 14th Congressional District Special Runoff
Fuller was endorsed by President Trump, who took to Truth Social to encourage voters to support his candidate.
Republican former prosecutor Clay Fuller won Georgia’s 14th Congressional District special runoff Wednesday.
Fuller defeated Democrat Shawn Harris in a special U.S. House run-off election to replace Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green.
With 92% of all votes counted in race, the favored Fuller, captured 57% to 43% for Harris, a retired brigadier Army general, in the closely watched contest.
Fuller was endorsed by President Trump, who took to Truth Social to encourage voters to support his candidate. The race was called less than an hour and a half after the polls closed.
House Speaker Mike Johnson and House Majority Leader Steve Scalise took to social media to congratulate Fuller.
