Conway Among 20 Finalists For 2026 All-America City Award

The honor recognizes communities that lead through civic engagement, collaboration and innovation.

The city of Conway is among 20 finalists from across the nation for the 2026 All-America City Award.

The honor recognizes communities that lead through civic engagement, collaboration and innovation. It’s presented by the National Civic League.

“For the past decade, the city of Conway has made it a priority to celebrate multicultural and diverse events while continuing to expand facilities, playgrounds and programming that serve children and adults with additional needs,” Mayor Barbara Blain Bellamy said.

This marks the first known time that Conway has been named a finalist. If secured, it will be the first time a city in Horry County is named the winner. Conway revealed a special logo called ‘Conway 250’ to celebrate. The winner will be announced on June 28.
