Myrtle Beach Pelicans To Charge Parking Fee

The team's first home game will be held April 14 against the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers.

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans announced plans to start charging for parking.

The new $10 parking fee will be applied to each vehicle for all home games this season. It is part of “broader enhancements” to the stadium.

However, parking will be free for Myrtle Beach residents with the city’s decal and season ticket holders with packages of 22 games and above.

The move comes after the team’s lease was extended for 30 years and as ballpark improvements are needed.
