Charges Pending In Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash

Charges are pending in connection to a crash that claimed the life of one person and left two others injured.
The two-vehicle accident occurred on Sunday morning along N.C. Highway 211 in Robeson County. A Mazda reportedly crossed over the center line and collided head on with a Cadillac. The Mazda overturned and came to a rest in a field while the Cadillac ran off the road to the left before coming to a rest.
The passenger in the Mazda was identified as 20-year-old Christopher Cummings who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Cadillac had to be airlifted to a hospital for injuries but her current condition is unclear. The 19-year-old driver of the Mazda was also airlifted to a hospital but his condition is unknown.
