The accident happened around 4:20am on the on-ramp to Highway 31 from Highway 707 in Horry County.

A Kia sedan was traveling north from 707 to 31 when it struck the pedestrian.

The driver of the Kia was not injured but the pedestrian did not survive the injuries they sustained.
