An investigation is underway following a shooting in Marion County.

Around 8:15pm Monday, police responded to the 41 Grocery store in the Mullins area.

An “adult victim” was pronounced dead as a result of the shooting.

Details on the circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately available.

An investigation remains underway.
