Savannah’s Playground Expected To Reopen Late February

The playground is the Palmetto State's largest disability accessible site.

A well known park in Horry County is set to reopen.

Savannah’s Playground is located in The Market Common area of Myrtle Beach. It closed back in October for a project that included $2 million worth of upgrades.

The upgrades include new synthetic turf, sun shades, and equipment improvements. The playground is the Palmetto State’s largest disability accessible site.

Contractors are working to complete the project and are expected to reopen the park in late February.
