Ocean Boulevard Section Closing For Fun Plaza Maintenance

Crews will be conducting maintenance work at the Fun Plaza.

A section of Ocean Boulevard will be closed off to traffic Wednesday.

The portion is located between Ninth Avenue North and Mr. Joe White Avenue.

The closure will begin at 6am and is expected to last throughout the day as a reopening time was not available.

Crews will be conducting maintenance work at the Fun Plaza. Officials say the work requires heavy equipment and is not a City of Myrtle Beach project.

Travelers are urged to alter their typical route if it involves the area.
