Brookgreen Gardens Hosts Ribbon Cutting For ‘The Purdy Center’

The plan for the new addition had been in the works for over 30 years.

Brookgreen Gardens held a ribbon cutting ceremony unveiling a new amenity.

‘The Purdy Center’ is made up of a Conservatory Great Hall with an indoor garden, and includes a tropical garden wall, seasonal and botanical displays, sculptures and a miniature layout of Brookgreen Gardens.

The plan for the new addition had been in the works for over 30 years. Thanks to donations, the center is now open to visitors. It is located near the main entrance.
