What’s Going On in the Area This Weekend!

There are several Halloween themed events!

The 7th annual Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam is going on all weekend at the former Myrtle Square Mall site. Whether you’re an off-road enthusiast, a die-hard Jeep fan, or a family seeking weekend fun there is plenty going on. Enjoy food trucks & refreshments, the obstacle course & mud pit and plenty of vendors.

Also, the iLove Seafood Fest will be held tomorrow from 1:00 to 9:00pm at Burroughs & Chapin. Enjoy live music along with cooking demonstrations and plenty of seafood vendor booths offering unique creations.

The Kaminski House in Georgetown is offering a ‘Family Fun and Reading Day’ tomorrow from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Bring the kids for an afternoon of crafts and storytelling. Each child will leave with a free book and a painted pumpkin!

There are several Halloween themed events this weekend as well including Surfside Beach’s Golf Cart Parade at 3:00pm with the majority of it on Ocean Boulevard! The “Halloween BOOnanza” at the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex is also going on. That’s from 5:00 to 8:00pm tomorrow night with games, candy, magic shows and roasted marshmallows.

Several churches are hosting events as well including Salt Life Church at the Myrtle Beach Mall will have their “Family Fun for All” event tomorrow and Journey Church on Palmetto Pointe Boulevard invites you to their “Rock the Block” event. Of course, Thompson Farm will have their “Halloween Helicopter Candy Drop” tomorrow and Sunday. 15,000 festive “pumpkin seeds” that will fall from the sky, are all filled with halloween treats.
