Bob Barker Passes Away at Age 99

Barker served as the host on the classic game show, The Price is Right, for 35 years.

The former longtime host of the game show “The Price is Right”, Bob Barker, passed away over the weekend. Barker served as the host on the classic game show for 35 years before passing the mic to comedian Drew Carey in 2007. He has earned 19 daytime Emmys and a Lifetime Achievement Award. Barker had also hosted the show “Truth or Consequences” from 1956 to 1974 and was inducted into the Television Academy’s Hall of Fame in 2004. He was also well known for his advocacy for animal welfare issues. Barker was 99-years-old.
