Matrimonial joys have turned to “wedding bell blues”…as younger generations say they can’t afford to to tie the knot. A survey by the thriving Center of Psychology says about 75-percent of millennials and “Gen-Z’ers” say they can’t get married in the current economic climate. 85 percent say they don’t think it’s necessary for a committed relationship anyway. According to another study by “The Knot” the average cost of a wedding last year was 30-thousand-dollars due to inflation. That is two-thousand-dollars more compared to 2021.
