Delta Air Lines Looks to Offer Free Wi-Fi to Customers

Delta is testing free Wi-Fi before offering on all fleets, meanwhile JetBlue Airways has long offered free internet during flights, backed by corporate sponsorships.

A major airline could be offering a nice perk in the new year.  Delta Air Lines is looking to launch free wireless internet for its passengers this year.  Initially, the carrier is expected to offer free Wi-Fi on a significant amount of its planes before turning on the service on more of its fleet throughout the year.  Delta said it is in the process of testing Wi-Fi infrastructure. JetBlue Airways has long offered free internet during flights, backed by corporate sponsorships.  Many other airlines have also been introducing faster, cheaper offerings as well.
