It just so happens, Greg's favorite ice cream flavor had it's national day on his birthday! Audra found a recipe for a no-churn batch!
If you watch our show you know Greg loves coffee ice cream. It just so happens Tuesday was National Coffee Ice Cream Day and Greg’s birthday! Audra found a recipe for a no-churn batch of his favorite flavor.
No-churn Coffee Ice Cream
1/4 cup hot water
2 tablespoons instant espresso granules
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of fine salt
2 cups heavy cream
Mix water with the instant coffee until dissolved, then mix in the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend well and put in refrigerator to cool while you whip your cream. Whip the heavy cream until peaks form. Add the refrigerated mixture to the whipping cream, blend and pour into a small loaf pan. Freeze 4-6 hours.
