Scotus Draft Opinion to Overturn Roe v. Wade Leaked

More info on the ‘draft’ obtained by Politico of a majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito that will strike down Roe v. Wade. According to the news outlet, the draft was circulated in early February though the final opinion has yet to be released and votes and language can change before they are formally released. The court confirmed the authenticity of the document yesterday and stressed that it was not the final decision. The final opinion in the case is not expected to be published until late June. Yesterday, Justice Roberts said he ordered an investigation and added that “this was a singular and egregious breach of that trust that is an affront to the court and the community of public servants who work here.”
