Search is Ongoing for Alabama Inmate and Corrections Officer

Investigators are now looking for clues such as videos to help locate them. 

Alabama authorities are looking for a missing corrections officer and a murder suspect she was transporting to court. The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office says Assistant Director of Corrections, Vicki White, took Casey White from a detention center Friday morning. The two are unrelated and never made it to the courthouse. Their disappearance was not noticed until hours later and the vehicle they traveled in was found in a shopping center parking lot. Casey White was being held on capital murder charges. Vicki White has been with the department for 25 years. Investigators are now looking for clues such as videos to help locate them.
