Spotify and United Airlines have partnered up to bring music to the skies.

United is now the first airline to allow passengers to log in and stream their personal Spotify content on seatback screens.

Customers can watch video podcasts, live performances and music videos, or listen to music and audiobooks.

Customers can scan a QR code to log in for full access to the Spotify catalog. The new integration is being powered by Starlink’s satellite Wi-Fi, which is currently being installed throughout United’s entire fleet.

The rollout started Friday and will reach half of United’s fleet by spring. A full seatback screen expansion will continue through the end of 2027.
