Another Arrest Made In Connection To Fatal Florence Shooting

40-year-old Sasha Singletary and her partner were leaving a friend's home when shots were fired toward the vehicle they occupied.

Another person has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting.

The shooting occurred on Oct. 10 in the Olanta area of Florence County. 40-year-old Sasha Singletary and her partner were leaving a friend’s home when shots were fired toward the vehicle they occupied.

Both occupants were struck and Singletary did not survive the injuries she sustained. The male was taken to a hospital for injuries but their current condition is unknown.

Last week, 17-year-old Tracey Benjamin  Jr. was arrested and charged with murder. More recently, 18-year-old De’Marea Roberson was arrested and charged with murder, attempted murder, discharging a firearm into a vehicle, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. They are both being held at the Florence County Detention Center.
