Jars Of Mezzetta Peperoncini Recalled After Viral TikTok

The recall comes after a woman posted a TikTok showing a dead mouse she allegedly found inside one of the jars.

Mezzetta has placed a recall on one lot of peperoncini items.

The recall coves one lot of its Golden Greek Peperoncini Medium Heat 32 oz. jars. It was placed due to presence of pest contaminant in the jar.

The recall comes after a woman posted a TikTok showing a dead mouse she allegedly found inside one of the jars. The announcement said no illnesses or injuries have been reported in relation to the recall.

However, the company advises consumers to refrain from eating the item and contact them for assistance.
