A new observational study looked at more than 15-thousand who eat after 9 p.m. and found they are up to two-and-a-half times more likely to suffer gastrointestinal issues…if they are also under physiological stress – like high blood pressure, cholesterol or obesity. Late night eating on its own didn’t affect gut health – indicating the combination with stress may be the problem.
