The incident unfolded last Friday afternoon at The Rooster 136 on E. Carolina Avenue in Hartsville.

30-year-old Charles Belangia IV is accused of entering the establishment, pulling out a pistol, and pointing it at an employee. He demanded cash and was handed hundreds of dollars in bills from the register.

Belangia fled the scene but was later arrested and charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
