The recall covers its 2024 Toyota Tundra pickup trucks due to debris left behind during the manufacturing process. It could contaminate the engine and increase the risk of a crash.

The debris inside the engine could cause the main bearing to fail, potentially leading to engine knocking, rough running, stalling or a failure to start altogether.

A remedy is still being developed at this time. Once a solution is found, owners will need to take their vehicle to a dealership to have the issue fixed.
