Memorial Day Events Across The Grand Strand And Pee Dee

Myrtle Beach will kick off its 'America 250: Red, White and Remember Parade' Saturday at 10am in The Market Common.

There will be several events across the Grand Strand and the Pee Dee to celebrate Memorial Day.

In the Pee Dee area, the Darlington County Courthouse will host a Remember and Honor Ceremony at 10am on Monday.

On the Grand Strand, Myrtle Beach will kick off its ‘America 250: Red, White and Remember Parade’ Saturday at 10am in The Market Common. There will also be a family picnic after featuring live music and more.

Surfside Beach is hosting a Golf Cart Parade at 11am on Monday that starts at Dogwood N. and 14th Avenue N. before heading down Ocean Boulevard. That’s followed by a service at 2pm at Memorial Park.

Also on Monday, the Jack Platt Veterans’ March will be held at 9:30am along Farrow Parkway in Myrtle Beach.
